The Right Stuff for LEED Certification

The brand new Eco-Leader is the latest amongst Ceramiche Refinâs avant-garde collections. It is manufactured using a 40% recycled material therefore it meets the requirements set by the LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the most important and severe American certification for energy and the environment.

It is the first time ever that an Italian tile producer has created a product able to be awarded the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED certification. In fact, one of the fundamental visions of Ceramiche Refin's mission is the desire to become a forerunner of environmental policies through conscious consumption and production, which respects the environment we live in.

Thanks to the Eco-Leader collection, Ceramiche Refin expresses its concern as well as its active commitment towards environmental policies, as demonstrated over the years up to and including obtaining Ecolabel certification, the European Union certification for environmental friendliness. The Eco-Leader collection is certified by “Det Norske Veritas” (DNV).

The Eco-Leader collection it is available in 4 colors inspired by natural elements such as sand and stone and comes in 5 sizes and a mesh-backed running bond rectangular porcelain mosaic.
